Welcome to the Darracq Lab!

Some Darracq Lab members during our biweekly lab meeting.

We are interested in how wildlife respond to management/restoration (e.g., forest management, urban greening, and prescribed fire) and anthropogenic challenges (e.g., urbanization, agriculture, and invasive species). We focus on understanding the influence of these factors on individuals, populations, and communities. We aim for our research to help inform the management and conservation of wildlife. If you want to know more about the lab or are interested in collaborating, please e-mail me at adarracq[at]murraystate.edu.

"Our ability to perceive quality in nature begins, as in art, with the pretty. It expands through successive stages of the beautiful to values as yet uncaptured by language."
